16 So when the Sabbath was over, Mary Magʹda·lene, Mary the mother of James, and Sa·loʹme bought spices in order to come and apply them to his body.
16 Ẹdẹ Ikẹtin ghi gberra nẹ, e Meri Magdalin, e Meri ne iye Jems, kevbe Salomi keghi dẹlẹ emwi ni winhin, ne iran mieke na do yae wuo ikun e Jesu.
2 And very early on the first day of the week when the sun had risen, they came to the tomb.
2 Ọ ghi rre owiẹ fioro vbe ikpẹdẹ nokaro vbe uzọla, iran kegha die idin ọghe Jesu, vbe ovẹn ghi yan rre nẹ.
3 They were saying to one another: “Who will roll the stone away from the entrance of the tomb for us?”
3 Iran na gha nọ egbe wẹẹ: “De ọmwa nọ khian gu ima werriẹ okuta hin onurho idin rre?”
4 But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away, although it was very large.
4 Sokpan, iran ghi tọn aro mu, iran na bẹghe ẹre wẹẹ, a werriẹ okuta nii hin evba rre nẹ, agharhemiẹn wẹẹ, okuta nii wa kakabọ kpọlọ.
5 When they entered into the tomb, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a white robe, and they were stunned.
5 Iran ghi la uwu idin nii, iran na bẹghe igbama okpia ọkpa, nọ tota ye obọ erha ọmwa vba, ọ na yọ ukpọn nọfua, ẹre orrirri na gbe ku iran.
6 He said to them: “Do not be stunned. You are looking for Jesus the Naz·a·reneʹ who was executed on the stake. He was raised up. He is not here. Look, here is the place where they laid him.
6 Ọ keghi tama iran wẹẹ: “Wa ghẹ gi ẹre kpa uwa odin. Jesu ne Ovbi e Nazarẹt na kan rẹn mu erhan ẹre uwa gualọ na. A huẹn ọnrẹn kpaegbe nẹ. Irẹn i rre emwa na nian. Wa ghee ẹre, emwa na ẹre iran te muẹn yi.
7 But go, tell his disciples and Peter, ‘He is going ahead of you into Galʹi·lee. You will see him there, just as he told you.’”
7 Sokpan, wa gha khian, wa ya tama erhuanegbe ẹre kevbe Pita wẹẹ, ‘Irẹn ke odaro ne uwa, ọ rrie Galili. Wa gha miẹn ọnrẹn vbe evba zẹvbe nọ tama uwa.’”
8 So when they came out, they fled from the tomb, trembling and overwhelmed with emotion. And they said nothing to anyone, for they were in fear.
8 Iran ghi ladian vbe idin nii, iran na gbe atata owẹ ye ulẹ, orrirri na gbe ku iran, iran na gha guọ zẹzẹzẹ. Iran ma gu ọmwa rhọkpa guan, rhunmwuda, ohan ghaa mu iran.
